Southern California Association for the Deaf (SCAD), is a non-profit organization that was established in January 2016. SCAD's primary focus has been in the development of services and identification of needs of the Deaf community, specifically in Southern California. SCAD has played a role in the Korean and American communities, to create effective and positive communication toward the climate between Koreans and Americans.
